The difference in my opinion from you and counselling is that counselling helps the person with coping strategies at the time, it’s like a plaster to seal over the wound, but the wound never heals, I’ve had many different counselling sessions and CBT, they all are short term solutions with little to no effect.
You help the person see life in a completely different way, you help the person to see life more clearly, you’ve completely changed my life and thought process – when I first came to you I couldn’t remember a time where I felt happy and the most important thing was to feel happy – whilst seeing you I’ve completely come off medications which I’ve been on numerous ones for the last 11 years, for the first time for as long as I remember I feel happy. I have ambition and a purpose in life. You delve deeper into someone’s life and you drag all that negativity out.
